Purpose

Four (2 policy & practice and 2 research related) PROGRESS Sessions were held in CRB’s annual conference India and Sustainability Standards on 20-22 November 2019. 

  • Global Value Chains and Women Empowerment (CRB led practice-oriented workshop) 
  • Sourcing policies/practices of MNCs and Implications on Food Waste Management (CRB led practice-oriented workshop) 
  • Mind mapping for sustainability (Aston led academic research project) 
  • Workshop on SMEs and circularity (Aston led academic research project) 

These sessions provided a good opportunity for academic researchers to collect data for their research. The inputs and insights from the practice sessions have been captured in policy notes and briefing papers.
